Carpenter / Carpenter HelperS
Job Overview
We're seeking skilled Carpenters and Carpenter Helpers to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong background across carpentry disciplines, or a willingness to learn, and can work confidently on diverse projects, from custom residential builds and remodels to commercial construction. This role calls for precision, a commitment to quality craftsmanship, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures using wood, plywood, and wallboard, with precision and aesthetic appeal.
- Execute siding installation for exterior finishes that enhance building aesthetics.
- Restore existing structures through renovation projects, maintaining historical integrity where applicable.
- Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
- Work efficiently without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with colleagues to problem solve on siteWork confidently across a range of materials and building systems.
Skills & Experience
- Strong carpentry skills including framing, trim work, and custom builds.
- Experience with cabinet installation, ensuring proper fit and finish.
- Familiarity with siding materials and installation methods.
- Familiarity with interior finish products and installation methods.
- Understanding of roofing systems and installation processes.
- Versatile, hands on approach to general construction and maintenance needs.
- Competence with Ontario safety regulations and standards.
